Did you know that January first is like national hangover day? It's the day out of the year the most people are hungover. It makes sense, you're ending a year and you're celebrating a new one. That means you're probably drinking double what you'd normally drink. Plus there's the fact that New Year's Eve isn't complete without champagne which makes for the worst morning after.

A lot of us are going to be staying at home for New Year's Eve, but does that mean we're drinking any less? I think not. I know that Cardi B doesn't plan on having a tame night.

After Cardi B tweeted this, the replies were flooded with the same response. The world's greatest secret and hangover cure. You've seen it in stores, maybe you've bought it for your kid, but have you ever thought to have some after a wild night?

I'll stop beating around the bush and let you know the ultimate hangover cure ever.

Yeah, Pedialyte! Here's why -

Alcohol is a diuretic. That means it increases the amount of water you expel via urine, which can in turn lead to dehydration. Since Pedialyte is formulated to prevent dehydration, it makes sense that drinking it before or while drinking could help to prevent a hangover.

There's no direct science behind Pedialyte being a hangover cure, but the internet doesn't really care about the science. I've seen plenty of people online grabbing the booze they need for the night, and a bottle of Pedialyte. I'm not a big drinker, so I haven't tested the theory.

But I'm hoping Cardi B let's us know if it really worked or not on Twitter.
