Here’s What You Can’t Recycle in Scott County

When it comes to recycling, we can all do our part to help.

But this Christmas there are many items you may think you should recycle...but the Waste Commission of Scott County says don't and that includes Christmas wrapping paper.

The list of items NOT to recycle includes all of the following:

• Christmas cards
• Gift wrap
• Styrofoam, bubble wrap, or foam peanuts
• Plastic wraps
• Plastic bags
• Broken or drinking glass
