‘Hey You Guuuyyyyssss!!’ – 30th Anniversary of the Goonies Today

Nothing sends me down memory land quicker than my favorite childhood movies. Goonies turns 30 today (Gawd I feel old!)  and is by far, one of my all time go-to, must-watch movies from when I was a kid. I recently introduced it to my kiddos and as hoped...er, I mean 'planned,' they all absolutely LOVED it!

There is a HUGE event going on in Astoria, Oregon for all the Goonies 'Die-Hard'  (another 80's movie reference...gee, I'm on fi--yaaaaahhhh with these!) fans. This little town is now full of hotels, restaurants, breweries and museums. You can bowl at "Chunk's Bowling Alley" or ride of the actual pirate ship!
