Hungry For Portillo’s? You Can Eat There Now.
Turns out you don't have to wait until the official opening.
The new Portillo's restaurant, on 53rd Street in Davenport, has launched a soft opening according to the QC Times. The official grand opening is about three weeks away, but the restaurant was open to the public as of Thursday.
The QC Times says it was not clear Thursday whether the restaurant at 2741 E. 53rd St. (across from Costco) will hold regular hours and a full menu until the grand opening. The company spokesman was not immediately available to clarify.
The Chicago-based chain will host its grand opening of the first Iowa Portillo's at 10:30 a.m. on June 13.
