What this man did in memory of his late wife, left me nearly speechless.  It also helped me to see that the love some people share, doesn't end.

When Don Jaquish lost his wife, Babette, last November to a 9 year battle with cancer, he not only planted a few of her favorite sunflowers in her memory, he planted 4 miles of them! Wild life enthusiasts and sunflower seed lovers' travel to Wisconsin to see what this man has done. Even the neighbors got in on the project.

“They all loved her,” he said. “There wasn’t anyone that met her that didn’t love her.”

Don's wife convinced him four years ago to start planting the flowers as a way to offer hope to people living with cancer. Don has now turned this idea into a company called "Babette's Seeds", which will be bags full of sunflower seeds that are harvested from the four mile stretch.

What made me cry the most out of this story, was the touching note Don found from Babette after she had passed on.

“You move on and live each day,” Jaquish said Babbette wrote. “Feel me in the morning air, and when you wake up and make your coffee. I will be there always.”

Such a beautiful family, with such a beautiful message of love. They show the world how to love by just doing it. And, to me, that is a story worth telling over and over again.
