Hy-Vee Will Hire 1000 Workers to Distribute COVID-19 Vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine will be in the Quad Cities soon and Hy-Vee wants to be prepared. The midwest grocery store chain announced they plan to hire 1000 pharmacy technicians to help administer COVID-19 testing and help with the vaccine preparations.

The plan is to add both part-time and full-time pharmacy positions across eight states including Iowa and Illinois Hy-Vee locations according to WQAD.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services named Hy-Vee one of the national COVID-19 vaccine providers, once it's available. Here's where you can find Quad City area Hy-Vee testing sites.
