Illinois Could Owe You Part of $1.8 Billion

Illinois' financial woes are in the news a lot lately, and they are supported by the fact that somehow the state has $1.8 billion dollars of accounted for money.

It's cash the state says is "unclaimed" and you could be entitled to some.

Let's forget for a moment the fact that Illinois probably can't afford to be giving away $1.8 billion and celebrate the fact that you could be one of the folks entitled to a piece of that pie.

A website has been set up to allow people to see if they are owed money from Springfield.
