Hy-Vee Recall Hits Iowa and Illinois
All jokes aside, if you've recently purchased macademia nuts from Hy-Vee, here's what you need to know.
Salmonella, even the potential of it, is no joke. Hy-Vee is acting quickly to protect you by voluntarily recalling packages distributed to 8 states, including Iowa and Illinois, over the possibility of a contamination. Nuts were sent out to all 240 Hy-Vee stores.
The macadamia nuts are in a blue, plastic package and has the Hy-Vee logo on it. Here is the other info to look for:
