There's a school district in Iowa that's showing no love for Valentine's Day.

According to KCRG, the Waukee Community School District, in Waukee, Iowa, has canceled all of their Valentine's Day celebrations. They say fewer families are celebrating the holiday and teachers find it too time-consuming for their classrooms.

The district is replacing their Valentine's Day celebrations with 'Give Love' parties in the spring. On that day, students will make handmade cards for the police, firefighters, military members and senior citizens.

District reps say the Give Love party is more inclusive than a traditional Valentine's Day party.
