It's been a busy week for the University of Iowa. First, Iowa City was voted the best college town in the nation. But apparently it's not because of the party scene. In fact, U of I itself has actually been demoted from the party school list.

For the last several years, the school has cracked the top ten. The list is created by The Princeton Review, and has been released annually for at least a decade. This year, Iowa didn't even crack the top 20.

This might seem like a bummer at first, but it might actually be a good thing. According to the report, "the university has made significant changes to reduce high-risk drinking." That's definitely awesome to hear; student safety should be the number one priority.

Plus, as anyone who's actually been to Iowa can attest, the parties are pretty legit. Just because it didn't make the list doesn't mean you won't have a good time up there.
