Iowa Will Soon Have Digital Driver’s Licenses.
I used to be notorious for leaving stuff behind. As I have aged, I've realized that if I don't put systems in place like repeating my steps, and putting things in a set place every time, I could well leave the house without pants.
For Iowans, leaving the house without your Driver's License is soon to become a thing of the past. Iowa will soon follow Colorado's lead with the introduction of Digital Driver's Licenses.
Under the two-year pilot program funded by the U.S. Commerce Department, Iowans would have a DL that would exist on their mobile device, with special fingerprint safeguards in place to insure no one could fake an ID.
