It's been a long last few months in quarantine. Some of us have been cooking at home more, ordering take-out or delivery, and some of us have been hitting up fast food restaurants more often since the coronavirus pandemic hit. But during the time of quarantine, what fast food restaurants have people gone to the most in each state?

Luckily, we have that answer.

On Tuesday, The Daily Meal, a website covering food and drink topics, released their latest study that shows what states liked which fast food restaurants during quarantine. I can tell you now, the answer for Iowa is very correct. I haven't been to that fast food place in a very very long time, but during quarantine my fiance for some reason was craving it.

The Daily Meal found out which fast food restaurants were each state's favorite, they teamed up with the market research company, Top Data. According to The Daily Meal,

Top Data looked at the year over year average percent change in the number of visits experienced by each fast food restaurant chain. This particular data set compares June 2019 to June 2020. Alaska and Hawaii were not included.

Wendy's was Illinois' favorite fast food restaurant during quarantine. Not going to lie, those spicy chicken nuggets with spicy ranch and a large coke sounds pretty good right now...

What about Iowa? What fast food restaurant did Iowan's love going to during quarantine? Like I mentioned before, I haven't been to this place in a long time but all it took was a global pandemic for me to "live mas" and "eat outside the box."
