Is There a Hubcap Thief in Moline?

A few weeks ago, I noticed the back left hubcap on my Pontiac G6 was missing.  I figured it was no big deal, it probably just fell off somewhere.  But the other day I noticed something that has me questioning how exactly the hubcap went missing.

I was just relaxing at my Downtown Moline apartment, looking over the parking lot when I noticed another Pontiac G6 parked four or five spaces over from me was ALSO missing the back left hubcap!

Is it just a crazy coincidence? Or is somebody stealing the back left hubcap off of Pontiac G6s in Moline?

I'm thinking of starting a task force to investigate this further, maybe we can call ourselves the "Pontiac Patrol" or the "Hubcap Crew."
