It’s Riverssance Time In The East Village

Riverssance is one of my favorite outdoor art festivals held every year in scenic Lindsay Park, the Village of East Davenport.  It's organized by MidCoast Fine Arts, with over 80 artists. There's also wine tasting, a children’s art activity tent hosted by Rivermont Collegiate and live local music organized by RME. Great food is available from Lagomarcino’s, Candy’s ribs and Streets of Italy Pizza.

Riverssance is this Saturday, September 15 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, September 16 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Admission is $4 for 12+ or $6 for a 2 day pass.

Again this year with grant funds, fest organizers are providing tickets distributed in advance to area social agencies, and admission will be free to everyone as of 3 p.m. on Sunday.
