J.B. Young Students to be Dispersed Between Five Schools

J.B. Young school in Davenport is set to close at the end of the school year, and now we know which schools students will be reassigned to if they were supposed to go to Young.

Students will be moved to either Sudlow, Williams, Smart, Jefferson or Madison.

The district is still deciding on changes to district boundaries.  Once that happens, parents will know exactly what school their child will be attending next school year.

A public meeting will be held tonight regarding the boundary changes at the Achievement Service Center.

Tomorrow parents will be able to put their two cents in about the district changes to officials at two meetings.  The first will be held at 2:30, with the second at 6.  Both meetings will be a J.B. Young.
