If you head to TPC Deere Run in mid-July next Summer expecting to see the John Deere Classic, you'll be thoroughly disappointed.

The PGA Tour had to shuffle its 2016 schedule to accommodate its players who want to compete in the Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Next year's John Deere Classic will be August 8th-14th.

The change means defending champion Jordan Spieth likely won't be back to defend his title if he decides to play in the Olympics.

The JDC will be back to its normal "week before British Open" slot in 2017.
