Mama Compton’s is LEAVING the District!

If you've ever been to the district of Rock Island, you probably have seen or been to Mama Compton's.

Today is your last day to eat there.

After 12 years in downtown Rock Island, the owners are leaving the area.

They're deciding to take the winter months off and look for a new location.

The announcement was made on their Facebook page Monday, saying the decline in people downtown is the main reason for the move.

I hope they get a new location (preferably on the Illinois side of the river, since I live in Moline) because their food was DELICIOUS!
