The Maquoketa Caves received the high honor of being rated "Most Beautiful Place in Iowa" by Conde Nast Traveler.

The park, purchased in 1921, has around 300 acres of land, and is a travel point for people all over the state.

With dozens of trail systems, there's plenty of places to explore without even going in a cave.
