Martina McBride Concert Pics, Stories and Romance

I have been a Martina fan since high school and haven't stopped. She continues to be, to me, one of the greatest voices in country music. My younger sister and I used to burn through her CDs in high school and sing until we couldn't sing anymore. Since she is 9 months pregnant and due any day now. I am so happy we got to spend this time together making new Martina memories.

Martina was at the Adler Theater, downtown Davenport, IA. last night and although it was a late night and even earlier morning for me, it was all worth it!

I even got to sit next to Craig, one of the Martina Madness winners from the trivia Kevin and I did this week. He brought his Mom and Dad with and we all enjoyed the old, new and even non-Martina songs she sang from the 60s and 70s. Martina McBride even covered Perfect by Pink!

Martina really shined as she sang all of her songs we know and love and went back into some 60's and 70's hits she managed to sing like they were her very own.  And I guess that is the right word to describe the evening. Martina owned the whole night. I didn't expect it to be any other way. She's just as magical as she has ever been.

The magic of the evening didn't stop there. For the first time, Martina played her part in a marriage proposal. The lucky couple couldn't be happier. Martina joked as they walked off stage and said "Whew! I'm glad she said 'yes'!"
