National French Fry Day

Don't let this one slip by you. Today is National French Fry Day. (who decides these things anyway?) According to USA Today there are a number of restaurants across the country celebrating by offering free fires. Unfortunately none of those, mostly chain restaurants, have a location in the Quad Cities.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't or cannot celebrate this wonderful day. So the question is who has the best french fries in the Quad Cities? Now I certainly haven't been to nearly every restaurant in the area but so far my vote for best would be TheJ Bar in Davenport. Let me know what you think and give me a tip on what I am may be missing.
