This new drinking law could change the way we do summer in the Quad Cities area.

There is nothing like sitting on a patio along the river and being able to sip your drink of choice on a hot, summer day. For some, that drink is hard liquor and consumers of such spirited drink are limited to only a 'taste' in Iowa. With this new law, there is hope that sip will turn into a normal serving size.

With the way local breweries have taken off, not only in the Quad Cities, but nationally, I imagine there is a growing demand for this in our area. Looks like this summer could be a great time to try new things and have tasty new experiences.
