Over or Under? How Do You Roll?

Toilet paper. We need it daily. We use it daily. Do you ever give thought to how it is placed on the holder?  I do (hey, come on... enough snickering already!) and Kevin does not but I must say, I was surprised by what I found in our bathrooms at work!

Even though it's been researched and a confirmed fact that the inventor of the toilet paper roll intended for it be OVER, there are still people who insist it should be under.

Think about it. If it is under, the edge we all grab for first could cling to the roll. It is inconvenient to have to search for the "beginning" piece of the toilet paper just like when the scotch tape gets stuck to itself and you have to search for the edge to begin the flow of it again. Same thing.

The only exception I am willing to make on 'under vs. over' toilet paper roll placement, is if you have a cat or a toddler in the house. Reason being, if they bat at the toilet paper roll (and they either do already or will...just you wait), putting it under will save you from a big mess in the bathroom. Because we all know, there are enough messes found in there that need cleaning and toilet paper shouldn't be one of them!
