On February 13th fire caused extensive damage to Porkies, a popular Silvis restaurant. Now after nearly $200,000 in restoration work the restaurant is ready to re-open.

With new equipment in place, owner Roger Pulford is ready to see his regular customers coming in again.

According to the story reported in the Rock Island Dispatch Argus the restaurant will resume 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday -- beginning Friday.
