Portillo’s Officially Opens Today

The day we've been waiting for has finally arrived.

The area's first Portillo's officially opened it's doors this morning.

There was an opening ceremony including Davenport's Mayor, Frank Klipsch and member of the QC Chamber. The restaurant also presented a $5000 check to Riverbend Food Bank, according to WQAD TV.

There were anxious patrons waiting to get inside and sink their teeth into the restaurant's famous hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and chocolate cake.
