Newly released documents obtained by a Minneapolis TV station indicate that when the plane belonging to Prince landed in the Quad Cities in the days before his death, the artist refused treatment for a drug overdose.

The new information indicates Prince was suffering from a drug overdose and was given a shot of Narcan. Once transported to Unity Point Health in Moline, the artist refused further treatment. It's believed the reason may have been his religious beliefs.
