QC Man Sentenced to Prison on Child Pornography Charges

WQAD reports a Davenport man has been sentenced to serve 20 years in prison for downloading child pornography on his computer.

Christopher Lee Collins, 35, pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography and possessing obscene visual representation of the sexual abuse of children on July 22, 2019, according to U.S. Attorney Marc Krickbaum.

A laptop that Collins possessed held 26 photos containing child pornography, as well as 28 anime images depicting pornography.

He will serve 20 years of prison, with 10 years of probation to follow. Additionally, Collins must pay $200 to the Crime Victim's Fund and register as a sex offender in Scott County.

Collins was investigated while on parole for a prior child pornography charge in 2017.
