It's no secret that Pokemon Go has swept the nation since its debut just a couple of weeks ago. And if you're a player, you've likely been hitting up some of the hot spots around the Quad Cities. Vander Veer Park, the downtown Moline riverfront, Middle Park, the East Village of Davenport, and Bettendorf Library are all good places for finding and catching Pokemon, according to Reddit.

But if you're thinking of possibly heading a bit out of town to get your Poke-fix, look no further than the town of Eldridge, a mere six miles north of Davenport. According to data analytics website Home Snacks, Eldridge is the number one town in Iowa to catch Pokemon.

The reason? Because it's a smaller town, there are a higher number of places per capita where Pokemon are typically found- places like churches, parks, museums, and public gathering places. Of course, Eldridge is home to Scott County Park, which we can only imagine is just crawling with Pokemon.

Eldridge has a population of just under 6,000 people, with over 10 parks per 1,000 people, 1.69 museums per 1,000 people, over 10 churches per 1,000 people, and 1.52 public gathering places per 1,000 people.
