Dress for Success Quad Cities does much more than help unemployed or underemployed women with professional attire for interviews and their job. They also provide job ready women working towards independence with resources and support to help them ace the interview, remain employed after being hired and thrive in their careers. You can help them too, by attending their Recycle the Runway Fashion Show on Thursday April 12th at the River.

According to Local 4 News and Ourquadcities.com the Recycle the Runway Fashion Show is unique because 10 local designers will create ensembles for the show from non work appropriate attire donated to the group. Celebrity judges will choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, with the 1st place winner taking home a $650 prize. In addition the fashion show will feature a silent auction, wine and cocktails, and appetizers. Advance tickets can be bought here. Brittany Price from Local 4 News interviewed Executive Director of Dress for Success, Regina Haddock, about the event and you can check out that interview here.
