Rock Island Kmart Set to Close

Regular shoppers at Kmart's Rock Island location have only a few months left until the store closes its doors.

Rock Island aldermen and city leaders announced yesterday the store will close, effective July 31st.

The store will remain open with normal hours until that date.

Kmart's liquidation sale begins May 12th.
