Rock Island on Alert After ‘Suspicious Men’ Encounters

Be on the look out and be aware in Rock Island, IL.

Just a couple of months ago, there were suspicious vehicles reported in the Quad Cities. One of them even tried luring children at a grade school and in a Bettendorf, IA. neighborhood.

Now, Rock Island Police Department are looking for two men after 'suspicious' activity that led to two, separate police reports, according to WQAD.com.

Two females, one a juvenile, reported being approached by a hispanic male in a newer, extended cab red truck. With one female, he pulled up in the truck and tried to get her into the cab. The juvenile female was approached as she was walking late at night and he tried to touch her arm but she pulled away.
