Support the Arts at A Unique Fundraiser

Ever wonder how an artist creates a masterpiece from beginning to end? You can find out tomorrow night by observing local artists showing off their own creative interpretation and style, while raising money to support artsBASICS.

The artsBASICS organization works to increase access to all of the arts for students in the Davenport Community School District. At artsBASICS 3rd Annual Fundraiser, tomorrow night at the Figge Art Museum, you'll be able to watch 10 local artists create a piece from scratch with the materials at hand. These one-of-a-kind works of art will be auctioned off at the end of the evening.

I'll be on hand to speak with the artists and help auction of the finished pieces. I hope to see you there too.
