Update: According to our news share partner, Local 4 News, police describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall who weighs about 200 pounds. The suspect is also wearing Sketchers brand gym shoes. The FBI is also on the scene assisting with the investigation. 

A suspect is on the loose after robbing the Wells Fargo bank at 1618 Main Street near Locust in Davenport about 9:30AM CT this morning. This according to reports from Ourquadcities.com and Local 4 News.

Davenport Police told Local 4 News the suspect entered the bank, implied he had a weapon, and ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the robbery and there's been a heavy police presence at the bank branch since this robbery was reported.
