Kind-Hearted Teen Stops Car to Give Food to Homeless Woman
The future of the country is in good hands.
A 16-year-old boy in Jackson, Miss. named Javen Harris was recently riding in a car with his mother after band practice when he told her to stop so he could jump out and give her "four sandwiches and four bags of chips because he wanted to help her."
Javen said the woman was touched by his gesture and it warmed his heart to see her happy.
"I'm hoping with all that is going on in the world that others will learn that you need to help everyone. Everyone deserves help," Javen said.
He also said his mother is the one who's taught him to treat others with dignity and that he hopes other people will be inspired by his one act of kindness.
