Tell Us Something Good

Kevin had a great idea to help offset some of the bad news or mishaps this week. It's "Tell Us Something Good" on Fridays. We had a someone actually stop by the studio to tell us her good story! Who is it?

Denise Hyntka from WQAD stopped by to tell Kevin and I all about what a wonderful thing her hubby did for her this week. It's not anything extravagant but it is one of the those most important "little things" that mean the most in a relationship.

Denise's husband knew the dimensions of a new dining room table she is looking at. She was having a tough time visualizing it's size in the room so her sweet, sweet man made a "make shift" cardboard table complete with duct tape just so she could see it and decide whether or not she wanted to go ahead with the purchase. (Seriously, what a sweetheart - *ladies swooning*)

I think Denise and her hubby are wonderful people and truly, beautifully matched for one another. They have made my list of couples who restore faith in relationships and after living a bit of life, that list is not very long. In other words, I admire my friends and the genuine love, friendship and partnership they share. Next to the extra fun time I got to have with my girls this week and the new friendships I made, they are a part of the good- things-that-have-happened-to-me this week.
