The TaxSlayer Center is the location for the temporary testing site that opens this weekend. Testing will be available, Saturday Oct., 3 and Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9 am to 5 pm at 1201 River Drive, Moline.

According to the Rock Island County Health Department, testing is available for anyone regardless if you're having symptoms or not. You don't need an appointment or doctor referral, but you do need a photo ID to get the test. The test is free, but if you have an insurance card, you may be asked to present it.

It's a drive-thru or walk up. The drive-up testing is fast and easy. Stay in your car, keep the window rolled up until you're asked to lower it. Medical professionals are fast, friendly and informative.

Since appointments aren't taken you might experience a bit of a wait. Just be patient and stay in the car. Maybe grab a book or magazine to read if you have a bit of a wait.
