The QC Will Have Dangerously Cold Temperatures on Friday

The coldest weather of the winter is coming this Friday.

WQAD reports that Thursday night into early Friday morning will get dangerously cold for the QC. Wind chills will reach as low as -35 with wind speeds between 10-20 mph wreaking havoc on the area.

As Meteorologist Eric Sorensen writes in his WQAD post, frostbite can take place in those temperatures within 10-15 minutes. Moral of the story? Don't even think of leaving the house on Friday morning unless you're wearing plenty of layers.

And, unfortunately, the bad news doesn't end there: yet another winter storm could be heading towards the QC on Sunday night into Monday, with freezing cold temps continuing after.
