It's shaping up to be soggy week in the Quad Cities.

According to the National Weather Service, the QC will receive several inches of rain this week that could lead to flooding.

There's currently a flash flood warning in place through Monday morning which could end up being extended if the rain continues. We know that many areas around the QC flood quickly, especially roads near the Mississippi. Make sure to take precautions if heavy rain is falling on your commute and avoid these areas. The old saying "Turn around, don't drown" needs to be heeded during rough weather weeks like this.

There's also a possibility of strong storms taking place Tuesday night, due to a warm front. Here's your friendly reminder to keep emergency supplies (like flashlights) on hand in case of a power outage.
