We may be in the back half of April, but that doesn't mean that Mother Nature has some chilly tricks up her sleeve. Apparently she isn't done with winter time yet. There is a chance of snow tonight throughout the Quad Cities area.

If you thought you were done seeing snow until the end of 2021, you were wrong. Mother Nature still wants to throw some curveballs at us and one of those curveballs are coming tonight.

According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, our chance of snow for the Quad Cities will happen tonight. We currently have a 50% chance of a snow/rain mix beginning tonight before midnight and throughout the night as well.

Here in the immediate Quad Cities area, we will only see about a trace of snow. The higher amounts of snowfall will happen more towards the southern part of the listening area near Burlington and into Missouri.

We also will be under a freeze watch from Tuesday night at 9 p.m. into Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
