With leaves finally turning color, fall is in full effect. Since Halloween is quickly approaching, everyone is looking to find the perfect pumpkin and fall family activity.  Pumpkin patches, hay rides, and apple orchards all are fun attractions, so here's a list of attractions in the Quad City area.

Freight House Farmers Market: This isn't the usual pumpkin patch where you go out and scan acres of land full of pumpkins, but rather a farmer's market that has different fall produce items, such as pumpkins, apples, gourds and squash. This is the location of the largest farmers market in the Quad Cities, so you'll have plenty of vendors to choose from, while still feeling the fall spirit.

Country Corner: A pumpkin patch right off of I-74 in Alpha, IL, Country Corner offers plenty of family fun, like a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, cow train ride, corn maze and even a cannon that visitors can shoot their pumpkins out of. With activities for all ages, this is a pumpkin patch that everyone will enjoy.

Pride of the Wapsi: Located in Long Grove, IA, Pride of the Waspi offers a weekend special of $9 for all activities, including a barrel train, corn maze, sandbox and petting zoo.  If you were wondering where to take the kids for the perfect fall adventure, this is your spot.
