Two Chain Clothing Stores Closing at Northpark Mall

According to WQAD, both Tilly's and Charlotte Russe stores at NorthPark Mall are closing. Tilly's reportedly closed yesterday and Charlotte Russe will be shutting its doors at the end of April.

This is sad news for NorthPark shoppers, but there's also a silver lining: the retailers are closing to make space for two new stores. H&M will occupy the space inside of Charlotte Russe and Dry Goods will take the place of Tilly's.

As happy as I am to see H&M come to NorthPark, it is bittersweet to have that happen at the expense of another great store. There wasn't any warning for Tilly's customers, but Charlotte Russe fans at least have a month to continue shopping at the store.
