The Village of East Davenport is holding its Wine Walk event tomorrow. You'll be able to sip and shop at local businesses and show support for the Village of East Davenport. The Wine Walk event is a fundraiser for The Village of East Davenport Business Association.

The admission price for Wine Walk is $25. The $25 is a donation to The Village of East Davenport Business Association. To start drinking and shopping, you simply start at one of the wristband/glass tents, hand over your $25, get a commemorative wine glass, a wristband, a map, and enjoy the fun!

During the Wine Walk, simply visit participating businesses throughout the Village to enjoy a 1 oz. sample of wine, cider, or mead. Local, domestic, and imported wines will be offered as well as samples from the local Homebrew community. Officials say that many of the Village of East Davenport Shops will be participating, and over 20 types of wines from local wineries and wineries around the world will be available to sample.

Not only will there be wine and local shopping, but live music will be playing through the Village of East Davenport during the Wine Walk too.

The Wine Walk begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. Those who want to participate may pick up their wristband and glass beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wine Walk itself begins at 3:00 p.m.

Glass/wristband tents are located at the Internation Fire Museum, Lagomarcino's, and The Village Theatre. Proof of age is required. You must be over 21 to participate.
