Here's a chance for you to read a child's letter to Santa and help provide a gift.

You can choose real letters to Santa written by underprivileged kids and send gifts based on the letter directly to the children who wrote to Santa.

USPS Operation Santa ® has launched a new website making the letters available online nationally for the first time. Gifts must be mailed by December 20th, in time for delivery by Christmas.

You can also help a child send a letter to Santa seeking gifts from the same website. Help your child write and mail those letters now before the December 14 deadline. Find the address to send here.

USPS elves send every letter on to Santa at the North Pole. If you have kids, explain to them you want to help Santa out by sending extra gifts to a child whose parents can’t them buy much this year.

The Be An Elf website says to 'assure your kids Santa will get their letter and they’ll get gifts from him, too."

If you don’t have time to adopt a letter yourself you can make a tax-deductible gift to Be An Elf, and they'll be able to get more gifts to low-income kids in time for Christmas morning.
