#WeWereHereTour Jason Aldean Concert [PICS]

A Thousand Horses, Thomas Rhett and Jason Aldean did exactly what they came here to do! We definitely knew they were here!

I don't know where to begin. I am still processing the fun we had last night. Jay Rush and I were there to greet you in the main entrance at the iWireless Center, Moline, IL. and got ya signed up to win tickets to see Luke Bryan in Peoria, February 19th. We took pics with you, laughed and were just as excited to see the show!

When it came time to head back stage for the Meet N Greet with Thomas Rhett, my heart skipped a beat. I met him for the first time last year and told him the story of meeting his Dad, country singer/songwriter, Rhett Akins years ago, when I first did country radio. The shorter version of this much longer story, is that I learned a very valuable life lesson the night I met his Dad. The lesson included: valuing and staying true to yourself, learning to have the wisdom to recognize an opportunity when it is presented to you, never giving up on your passions. Thomas was gracious, loved the story and pic and said "This pic is going up on my tour bus. It's the first one of the tour!"  Naturally, that made my night :)

Meeting Jason Aldean, well, that was pretty surreal. The entire concert was awesome! I didn't sit down once and the #WeWereHereTour delivered one great time after another, all night long!
