When the Heck is Cheryl’s Birthday?

Full disclosure, I've never been good at math.

But this?  This is a little ridiculous.

A TV host from Singapore posted the problem, titled "Cheryl's Birthday", to his Facebook page last week and the internet has been up in arms about it since.

So here's the basis: Cheryl, like every human, has a birthday.  But she doesn't want to just give it away to her friends Albert and Bernard (who, as her friends, should probably already know her birthday, but that's a different issue).

So she gives Albert and Bernard a list of ten possible dates in May, June, July, and August.  Then the two have a conversation and based on the context of their talk we should know when Cheryl's birthday is.
