When My Babies Meet a Real Baby

My girls met their baby cousin, Liberty for the first time last night. You'll just love what my six year old said.She kept looking at me and calling her "it".

"Mom, is it getting cold?"

"Mom, when am I going to be able to hold it?"

"Awww, Mom, look at it's little toes!!"

I kept laughing and telling her that she is a girl and her name is Liberty. She understood perfectly but it kept slipping her mind. I am sure she will pick up on the fact her baby cousin does have a name and is a real person :)

My other daughter called her "it" too but made the turn around more quickly.

This baby has wrapped us all around her little finger. We are looking forward to spending as much time with her as possible.
