A woman in Granger, Washington, climbed to the top of a T-Rex statue at Hisey Dinosaur Park. Apparently, she became frozen with fear of falling or perhaps she was genuinely scared of the prehistoric creature. Regardless, someone heard the woman’s pleas for help and called 911.

The fire department showed up to rescue the woman, which had to have been a strange 911 call to receive. Perhaps it went something like: “Um, yeah, there’s a woman riding a concrete T-Rex and she’s yelling for help. Please hurry.”

Why was she on top of the prehistoric dinosaur? I’m not sure, but I’m guessing that it maybe had something to do with a selfie to post on social media? If so, she got more than she bargained for, as a photo of her has now gone viral on social media.

Hisey Dinosaur Park in Yakima, WA, was built in the 1990s and features around 30 dinosaurs.
