Yet Another Big Snowstorm Could Hit The QC This Week

I can't even list the number of snowstorms the Quad Cities (along with the rest of the Midwest) has experienced this winter. And I've got some more bad news for you: another big winter system is hitting us on Tuesday night.

Local News 4 reports that the system will start moving through Tuesday night and continue until Wednesday afternoon.

Snow, sleet, and freezing rain seem likely, with areas north and west of the QC (like Iowa City) getting the highest amount of precip. Totals are still iffy right now, but this looks like a pretty large system.

Since Wednesday's high is 36, a wintry mix looks the most possible, meaning roads will probably be a mess.

Sigh. Winter is definitely far from over, but we really could use a break, weather gods!
