Counting down the hours until the holiday weekend.

3 - In October, Quad Cities Vintage Football will stage their 3rd annual classic football game. The Rock Island Independents will face the Moline Universal Tractors in a game of football played in 1920's gear following the rules of the era. 4 - The Genesius Guild has begun its 61st season, offering its free classic theater series through August 6 in Lincoln Park in Rock Island.
