Rabbit, rabbit. Say it first thing this morning and you'll have good luck for the month.

1 - Another sweet weather day. A little more humidity in the picture than the past few days, but not unbearable. A mix of sun and clouds and mid 80's for temps. Here are your forecast details from the National Weather Service office in Davenport.

2 - The Great Mississippi Valley Fair opens today in Davenport. The fair is a sure sign that the best part of summer has arrived. Read my blog with a list of this year's grandstand performers including John Mellencamp performing this Saturday night. More entertainment when we do That Hollywood Thing at about 8:40am.

3 - Another late summer staple in the QCA is the Quad City Symphony Orchestra's Riverfront Pops. This year, QCSO is celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. I'll have pairs of tickets to Riverfront Pops to give away every morning for the next two weeks. Just listen for The Beatles Breakfast Bite, and call in to win.

4 - The Cubs organization has given a World Series Championship ring to Steve Bartman, the fan who has experienced years of ridicule after being accused of interfering with a fly ball during the 2003 NLCS that many fans believed cost the Cubs a World Series that year. Click here to vote on whether you think Bartman deserved a ring. Scores and more when we do That Sports Thing at around 7:40am.

Have a great Tuesday, and a great August.

- Craig
