104.9 The Hawk remembers U.S. Military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their service to our country.

This week we honor…

8/17: Sergeant Kevin Gilbertson from Cedar Rapids, of the U.S. Army.  Kevin died on August 31st, 2007.

8/18: Specialist Dakota Gooding from Des Moines, who served in the U.S. Army and died February 13^th, 2005.

8/19: Staff Sergeant Donald Griffith Junior of Mechanicsville, who served in the U.S. Army and was fallen March 13^th, 2005.

8/20: Sergeant Thomas Houser of Council Bluffs, a United State Marine who we lost on January 3^rd, 2005.

8/21: Specialist Joshua Knowles from Sheffield, who served in the U.S. Army and was taken from us June 5^th 2006.

We salute the brave men and women who have given their lives defending our nation’s freedom, and we honor their memory.'
